MAMA POWER TRAINING
Mama Power offers a unique training program for registered women, where they can choose to learn vocational and artisan skills through one-on-one or group classes. This non-traditional education is tailored to their interests and preferences. Despite differences in literacy levels and educational backgrounds, the program is designed to be elaborate and helpful to everyone. The training aspect of Mama Power empowers women to gain new skills and knowledge, which can lead to them creating job opportunities and a brighter future.
The Training Process
Upon registration, the learner is either assigned a personal tutor or placed in a training group, based on the information given during the registration process. The learners are then taken through the intricacies of the craft selected comprehensively. The learner's learning speed, prior knowledge, and specific interests are also taken into account ensuring the training given is as effective as possible.
Who trains the learners?
Our learners are trained by professionals in the fields that they are learning. Moreover, we have volunteers and mentors that offer a helping hand, both in in the skill and entrepreneurial aspect of the education we offer. The mental wellbeing of our learners is very important to us, and that is why we have counsellors that walk with them every step of the way.
